The Panasonic KV-S4085CL software is very customizable on the Mac OS and fast to use. This Panasonic KV-S4085CL scanner "eats" tons of all sorts of formats and is very robust. Of course you have to make sure that all pages are single (eg the middle pages of a booklet have to be separated)! Not cheap, but for Vielscanner a huge time savings! I have been running the scanner for a long time now and it works without any problems. The only drawback is that there seems to be only drivers for Windows, none for Linux.
