Brother QL-570 Printer Drivers. The Brother P-touch QL570 label printer is a nice and inexpensive addition to the conventional (laser / ink) office printer. Anyone who often has to label envelopes with addresses knows how tedious this endeavor can be with a normal office printer. One has an envelope which does not correspond to a normalized size and finds no suitable format in the word processing program (MS Word, Opfen Office, etc.). If someday you have discovered a format, then the paper feed does not work as you need it. Suddenly, the envelope comes crumpled out of the printer or the heat of the laser printer has softened the glue on the envelope and the envelope is already sticking. Everyone can certainly report their experiences there. With this small base unit from Brother, I have found a solution for me. Brother P-touch QL570 label printer prints on dedicated (continuous) paper. You can activate the automatic cutting function, then automatically a cut is made at the point where the printing is finished. This little matching "peel-off" label comes on top of the envelope and the thing is done.

I have Windows 10 (64-bit version) installed on my computer and the P-touch from Brother is apparently compatible with the operating system. I have inserted the enclosed CD and installed the software. Afterwards I was redirected to the Brother page, where the current Windows 10 driver was taken. So everything seems to be up to date. Although the Brother P-touch has been on the market for several years, the device will apparently continue to be supported by Brother. I bought this device for about 45,00 Euro. To my knowledge, a friend bought exactly this model 5 years a go for twice the price.

+ I have purchased stamps online on the website of Deutsche Post Internetmarke. Here you can directly buy brands for the "Brother DK-22205 endless label 62mm". Super handy. For me, this is a sign that the Brother machine has been accepted by a broad clientele.
Negative: The labels are a bit expensive when reordered by Brother. All in all, I like the Brother P-touch QL570 label printer. Now he only has to prove itself in the long-term test. It will certainly have ample opportunity to do something with me.
