Epson Perfection V500 Office Scanner Driver Download. So far as i can tell this is the equal scanner because the Epson Perfection V500, which is marketed as a picture scanner, but with the addition of an automated file feeder. The ADF (as they call it) sits on prime of the scanner. One gets rid of the typical lid (which also comes with it) and replaces it with the ADF. I took some pictures so you will see that how tall it is. There aren't any recommendations within the "easy established" section on put collectively the ADF or use it. The guidelines are, however, within the handbook on the cd. Taken from the handbook, these are the constraints on what you can feed through below: "ensure your files meet the following conditions before loading them into the ADF: The ink is dry and the document has no holes and is not ripped or wrinkled. The report has no staples, paper clips, or different objects connected to it; these could injury the feeder mechanism. Also the document has no folds within 0.2 inch (5 mm) from the sides. Its file has no cut-out areas. The report will not be a multipart form or bound and the record has no rear carbon coating." So I can confirm that it does now not like wrinkled paper. I tried to send some wrinkled sheets by way of and it jammed up the ADF. The ADF does excellent with typical paper. It pulls the documents one after the other round and through. It's rather rapid, scanning four sheets in just under 2 minutes at 300dpi in colour. It does now not have to be "instructed" how many sheets to scan, simply maintains pulling them in separately unless there are none left. This can be a definite time saver when you've got stacks of paper you want scanned as the scanner does extra of the work.
